Why Choose MoveMedics?

It’s all about finding the right physio fit for you. I could be the perfect fit and I could be the worst!

I’ll be a GREAT fit for you if:

  • You are an action taker and will follow the plan we devise together for you.
  • You are serious about actually getting rid of your issues and achieving your goals.
  • You are cool to have some fun whilst doing serious work.

I’m definitely NOT a good fit for you if:

  • You want me to fix you and make your issues go away.

I can’t fix you, sorry. Nobody can, as health professionals we can only guide you. If you want results, you need to put in the work.

What Are Your Fees?

My fees are extremely reasonable considering you’re paying me to show you the most direct path to success! You’ll have access to all the knowledge in my head, my many years of experience, my full support and encouragement, plus all of my quirks.

An initial assessment is $150 (1 hour). I take hour-long initials so I can really get to know you and understand your issues so I can figure out the best way to help you overcome them and achieve your goals.

Follow ups are $118 (45 minutes).

If we haven’t seen each other for over 8 months, or you have a new challenge, you may require an initial assessment.

Payment is required on the day of service. I have a fancy payWave machine you can use for EFTPOS, Visa or Masters.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

I try to get rid of you as soon as I can so hopefully not too many!

In all seriousness, most musculoskeletal issues we see at a physio clinic are very straight forward to manage. We need to screen out the nasties, which we do in your first session, then it’s just about giving you all the information you need, setting you up with a plan for success, and then we touch base if/as we need.

Don’t worry, I’m not heartless and am here to support you all the way! I just don’t believe anyone should have to rely on someone else to “Be Free In Your Movement”. I find that we have much better long-term success when I “teach you how to fish”.

Can I Use My Private Health's Physio Cover?

You sure can!

I have a fancy HICAPS machine to process your claim on-the-spot so make sure you bring your card with you. For gap payment you can use payWave for EFTPOS, VISA or Masters.

How much you’re covered is dependent on your individual policy. You can find out exactly how much by contacting your health fund directly and ask about the following item numbers:

Item 500 – Assessment Consultation

Item 505 – Subsequent Consultation

I’m NOT a BUPA preferred provider because I don’t like them dictating what I can charge for my awesomeness and did not sign up for it.

What Do I Wear To My Appointment?

I honestly don’t mind what you wear so long as you’re comfortable and at least have clean undies on. What I need in order to help you properly is to see you move your entire body. What I find works very well is a singlet top and shorts for ladies and shorts for gents. You are most welcome to get changed here.

Do You Have Parking There?

Yes, we do!

There are 4 visitor’s car parks on site, the sign on the wall says 45 minutes but you’ll be fine to park there. These can be busy during the day but there are ample metered street parks along adjacent streets.

The gate to the complex shuts at 6pm. If the gate is shut and you’re on foot, please buzz F4 from the directory on the wall to the left and I will buzz you in. If you’re driving, please buzz from the intercom on the driveway, my button is the PURPLE one (1st row from the right, 3rd one down), and I will come down to swipe you in.

What If I Can’t Make It To My Appointment?

No problemo. I understand that ship happens and will happily reschedule your appointment for you. However, out of consideration to me and my other clients, 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment or a Late Fee will be incurred.

Late Fee is the full fee of your scheduled appointment.

I really hate having to charge someone a late fee so to help you avoid incurring one, my Chief Cyber Concierge, Caesar, will send you a reminder 1 day before your scheduled appointment, get in touch to reschedule then and you’ll be fine.

Do I Need A Referral?

Nope.

Physios are first-contact practitioners, which means you can go see one anytime you want. Your doctor may have given you a referral, in that case please bring it with you and we can decipher what they wrote together.

Why Don’t You Treat Under 16's?

Because the growing bodies of children can present with unique challenges that adults do not and these are often things you don’t want to miss!

I believe everyone deserves the best care and I can’t deliver the best care for your child because I’m not a Paediatrics Physio. Yes, it is a specialty area and they will be the best people to take your young human to.

Why Don’t I See Any Testimonials On Your Website?

Because physios, like doctors, are regulated by the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Unless you’re registered with AHPRA, you can’t legally treat patients.

For the priviledge to be your health professional, we must abide by strict rules, regulations, and National Law. Australian National Law prohibits all AHPRA registered health professionals from using testimonies to promote their services.

This is why despite having a tribe of happy clients, I can’t ask them to write me glowing reviews. Oh well…
